Plants that do not produce flowers are called non-flowering plants. Since they do not have flowers, they reproduce in other ways. Some non-flowering plants, like mosses and ferns, reproduce using spores. These spores are tiny cells that can grow into new plants. Some other non-flowering plants, like conifers, produce seeds without producing flowers. Look at the pictures below.

Mosses, like the ones growing on these rocks reproduce by releasing spores.

Ferns reproduce though spores found in little clusters on the bottom of the leaves.

Conifers, like the one above, do not produce flowers. They produce cones with seeds inside.
