How the eyes work – video

As you watch the video, please note the following:

The pupil is a small hole which allows light to enter the eye.

The lens focuses the light to help create a clear image of what we are looking at.

The image is formed on the retina which is at the back of the eye.

The retina sends signals to the brain through the optic nerve.

The brain tells us what we are seeing.
